Is where it all started, from intricate patchwork involving 40-50 different fabrics, Embroidered and Appliques, printed voiles – block, hand screen, rotary & digital, garment dyed. Hand Quilting has been and continues to be our strength. Equally important are the quilts and coverlets made on high tech embroidery and quilting machines. Quilts can be made in multiple fabrics – a variety of cottons, linens, silks, velvets, polyester and more.
Kantha
These light weight quilts have very intricate work. This type of embroidery is like a running stitch on soft fabrics. The hand made pom poms are the icing on the cake.

Crewel Embroidery
Inspired from vintage French textiles the crewel embroidery technique is used to enhance the pattern, three different Quilting patterns lend different dimensions to the quilt, channel on the outer sides, with vermicelli along the border and then a Clean geometric pattern in the centre.
Garment Dyeing
As the name suggests the quilt is dyed after it has been quilted. It is then stone washed – creating the highs and lows of colour.
Trapunto Quilting
This is a very old quilting technique that had it’s origin in French and Italian quilts. A puffy, decorative feature, trapunto utilizes at least two layers of batting, the underside of which is slit and padded, producing a raised surface on the quilt. The quilt is embroidered around the decorative motifs and a vermicelli quilting is done on the rest of the quilt. This requires highly skilled artisans to execute.
Block Print
Wooden blocks are first carved based on the design to be printed. The number of blocks depends on the number of colors. The fabric is stretched onto a table. The printing is done one block at a time across the length of the table where the block is used much like

Hand guided machine quilting
A very traditional yet contemporary quilt, the first step is to piece together a block and then sew blocks to create the quilt topper. After sandwiching the cotton batting each block is held firm on a frame and quilted in the intricate pattern.
